hey fellas i moved to the gold coast a couple of months ago an i'm lookin for some fishin pals! an mates to get on the piss with an go out chasin some tail! i'm 23

Mate best advice is to get along to a AFO event.

The first time can be a bit daunting not knowing anyone but I think many will attest that once the ice is broken (which happens damn quick) plenty of mates are found. There are tonnes of blokes on this site who are mates both when fishing and otherwise courtesy of meeting at events etc.

like angus said mate. Rocking up to a social event is the way to do it. Plenty of blokes to talk about fishing too. Chasing tail comes 2nd unfortunately at these events.

but mate you're at the goldy... Just go out on the weekends. More than you can poke your rod at.
