good spots in the brisbane river dams

hey guys where are some good spots around brisbane river and what dam is the dam with all those fish in it.

All the dams around Brisbane are Stocked, your allowed access to most of them. Closet is North Pine, limited bank access only at the Moment.

The Pine Dam is producing some good fish.

If you dont have a boat or a kayak, NP is the gp.

I prefer around Forgans Cove. But Bulloky's rest seems to be doing pretty goos at the moment as well.

At NP bass are most common. But there have been a few yellas thrown in as well. (Not by me). But read the reports mate. There are stacks of NP ones.

There is pretty much AFO members at North Pine every day if the reports are a fair indication!

Rhys my advice is try plastics or spinnerbaits at N.P.D or g vibes jackalls can get a bit exspensive I lost 3 today on snags $75 gooooone.

If you want to do saltwater fishing around the mouth of Brissy river is the way to go. Good spots are under the bridge where the sunken rock wall is at fisherman's island (good sized bream). Its around the port of Brisbane, becareful for snags. Another good spot is boggy creek for crabs, bream, cod and flatty's. I always catch bream there using bread. Hope this helpsB)

My mates dad is some kind of science guy at QTU and he said if you were to get sick from mercury poisoning you would have to eat 100's of crabs,fish etc to maybe getting abit sick from the mercury.

Also, in winter you're pretty safe...the mercury normally stays pretty low.
