Dont rely on it though always check just before you leave. A couple times i have checked a day in advance etc gone out and the winds were sometimes better sometimes worse. one time i checked the night before and expecting a calm 5-10 knots. Get out there and its 15-20 with a chill factor of eleventy billion.

Its a great site dont get me wrong but yeah im pretty sure that I use the same weather charting program as the bureau, it is complex to understand at first but once you get the hang of it youll find its a lot more reliable. If you can get your hands on a scientific calculator its alot easier. All you need is two charts one with 0-25 on it the other has rain or fine and a dart.. im sure you can figure out the rest.

Best one yet :P

Personally speaking, I always rely on the old string barometer, just hang a piece from a nail on your shed, then:

IF STRING IS SWAYING- IT'S WINDY

IF STRING STANDS SIDEWAYS- IT'S VERY WINDY

IF STRING IS WET- IT'S RAINING

IF STRING IS DRY- IT'S NOT RAINING

IF STRING IS STIFF- IT'S FREEZING

IF STRING CASTS SHADOW- IT'S SUNNY

IF STRING CASTS NO SHADOW- IT'S CLOUDY

IF STRING IS INVISIBLE- IT'S NIGHT

IF STRING IS SMOKING- SHED'S ON FIRE

LMAO
