Snapper location

Hey guys,

Can anyone tell me any snapper locations that i can access by puplic transport landbased btw =)

What bait,tides and rigs are best for snappers.

If you are lucky you can pick up snapper from the rock wall at manly. the word 'lucky' is the key mate. Good luck

Some rock walls along the brisbane river have produced some snapper for me. Cuaght them on ganged pillies, on an incomming tide...

Jump on ferry from victoria point and go coochiemudlo island. We used to catch snapper there when i didnt have licence. Last ferry come back 10.40pm

When i didnt drive i used to catch bus to victoria point boat jetty. The 250 takes you there and than jump on ferry. They start at 10 am.

Also riverwalk at Teneriffe/Newstead. Plenty of snapper have been caught there land based. Have also caught good grunter bream.
