with the big seas and high winds forecast for the weekend there will be a few guys including myself from akff hitting ewen maddock early Sunday morning with a BBQ around lunch. If there is any fellow yakkers that would like to come along let me know and ill bring more food. I also have a second yak i can bring along if there is any non boater that wants to give it a go.

Are canoes also welcome. I have just finished my roof rack and was thinking of coming along with feral . I will sit in the back and let him paddle.:evil:

It will be a first for both of us in a canoe so may be worth a laugh.

Would it be more prudent to wait for less wind or is it relatively calm there?

i had just gone and asked mum she gave me the thumbs up and then i just relised i had work from 9 till 5 arrrghhh so i might go sat or sunday arvo but good idea anyway

yeh ray quite welcome, you planning on using live shrimp? Id be interested to see how they go if that was your plan. There are some reel big yellas in there.
