well after 11 months, 14 days, 9hrs, 27mins and 32 secs ( but whoes counting ) and after puting 5 straight nights of working to wee hours of the morning, befor rising up looking like a zombie, rewiring the boat, puting fuel tank in, lighting and more. 9.00 friday night i put 25l of fuel in the tank, primed the fuel bulb, put the choke on and turned the key, it wound for 5 secongs and fired. YES :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: , i am back baby, they mad mullet has awakened.

we got to the boat ramp ( vicky point ) at 5.30, with brad waiting patiently for us. launched our boats and made our way over to throught the mave of sand banks.

arriving at blakesleys we quickly unpacked and headed of fishing while conditions were good. hit mayora for 1 big bust off, 1 good hard run, a heap of undersized squire, rainbow runners ( whiptait and afew scorpion cod.

we dropped the pots out and got a good feed of crabs and a nice cats eye shark ( flake ) for tea.

despite the rought and windy conditions, the weather was a good test for the motor, having to push the boat through the swell and chop. ash, myself & mako and domino our dogs had a wicked good time having a good yarn, wicked feed, playin cricket and watching a certain someone getting pulverised.

a big thanks to everyone for the grub and orginiseation of the trip, look forward to the next one.

weahter is a bonus in my books, yes it is good to get out for a fish, but what draws me is the social side of things.
