Hi all, Im Zari,

Have been living in tassie most of my life and have just moved to brisbane for work, Big into fly fishing, have spent a lot of time in tassie comps, my father also has a game boat so we chase marlin dollies, tuna ext..

Im living in brissy on my own, with all my fishing gear but dont know too many spots yet so i'll be getting to know the site and going back through the wealth of info on here,

Im a lawyer by trade but also do a lot of product modeling and have been in your local Bush and Beach advertising fishing line a few times.

The small fee may be yours as he lives in Tasmania, some nice little snapper you have in your photo there, Ive noticed from the reports that they dont get as big up here is that true. Do many people get them over a meter?

haha, i think you can get them over a meter but you dont see many at all.

i'm sure there are people on here that have caught them well over a meter though!

Yes I work with a guy who is a member on here, though he doesnt fish land based like myself, he has taken me out over a dozen times now and got me onto some fantastic snapper, my pb up here is 96 now. Though I would like to try some tactics we use down south..

They seem very easy to catch in the bay here, and they are big enough but quite light for thier size.

you may be disappointed with our snapper and bream in comparison to down south. But we get cracker bass and jacks here
