queensland Bass and Toga Session Saturday Arvo

Hey All,

Headed Out Saturday Arvo with My 3 1/2 Year old Caleb and AFO member Freedomhawk12 and my other Mate Brandon to chase afew Bass at Lake Kurwongba ( 1st Timers) Armed with a few jackalls, So We Got to the Nominated Spot Where I Was Hoping to Get my 2nd Ever bass, Asked Robbie What To do and 1st Cast Was Fire about 40m Out , Rob Said Loosen ya Drag they hit Hard Here and So they did, Slow rolled my Jackall For about 10m when i got a Almight thump, Geez this has Some weight For a Bass I said, then It Got cranky and rose to surface and tailed walked about 1m acroos the surface , No Im No Sweet water Expert but i called it for a toga straight up , Got him in quick pic and Realease Approx 65-68cm , 20mins later I said to Robbie (Geez those Togas Must be Thick If i can Catch One here) Pretty Much After Saying that I hooked Again, Much to Robbies Disgust and Kind Words of Your Kidding Me , I had another Playing up on the 8lb Braid and 15lb Leader Set up, this one had a bit more GO in than the 1st , So we took our time and Robbie Lip Gripped This one for Me .... on the Brag Mate and a quick lot of Photo's and she swam away Feisty As,

Could not Get a Bass on the Jackall So Switched over to a Blade a mate has been making for a few of us to play with and Nailed one about 38cm, Finally my 2nd Bass,

Great catch!!!!!!! I've only ever caught bass there. Still hoping for a toga to hit my lure while I'm there :whistle: :whistle:
