Lake Coolmunda Fishing Competition is being held on the 28th, 29th & 30th September 2013.

Mystery Weights for Murray Cod, Yellowbelly, Silver Perch, Jew Fish & Spangled Perch. 1st prize is $500 & 2nd prize is $200 for each species.

Live Music, Camping Available & Food Available on-site.

Something for all of the family with kids competitions also being held.

Entry fee is $25 for Adults and $10 for Under 18's

10 of us entered this last year. Was a good few days with plenty of fish landed and weighed in.

The trip back in Ted's car was hilarious (for those in a different car)

Is the camping and entertainment lakeside of at the caravan park,

What facilities are there for camping and costs please.

Last time o was at Inglewood the dam was not even built and the local hobby was burning tobacco drying sheds. :ohmy:

Was still about 20 mile of dirt road between Inglewood and Gundy.

Camp ground across the road from the lake, camping allowed on the dam shore itself from memory.

I think that I read that the freecamping on lakeside has been stopped.

last year there was camping at the dam beside the HQ and comp on the side of the lake. There where Toilets and I think there was a shower block provided as well. We stayed at the caravan park just up the Road near the Train line. The camping at the dam was free.

Hi Everyone .. Sorry it has taken so long but we have been busy with the preparations and waiting for the posters to come back! There is camping available at the dam (where the boat ramp is). This is run by the Caravan Park which is located just up the road. I have attached a poster for you all ..
