resolved PM system not notifying recipients

I know its been raised before over the years, but in previous versions of BFO/AFO there have been little red numbers or symbols indicating that you have a PM waiting.

Seems not to be the case with this version however.

I have noticed a number of people adding PM sent to threads to notify the recipient of a PM in their inbox with varying degrees of success.

I have sent a couple of PMs to people and unsure if they are being seen or answered and no way of following them up without posting in a thread or on their wall.

Can it be added to the wish list in a future upgrade?
