queensland Brisbane River Access

Hi Guys,

Just wanting some info from anyone who has fished the upper reaches of the Brisbane river.

I want to go and chase some early season Bass up around the Esk/Fernvale stretches of the river but every potential access point looks as though it is on private property?

I am looking to drop a kayak in and work my way around but I am wary of upsetting any of the local land holders.

I have seen plenty of posts of people successfully fishing this part of the river but I just want to make sure I don't step on any toes.

Any suggestions?

hey mate, try wivenhoe pocket road. fernvale once the season opens.
