Rod Holders in Boat

Gday All,

Im at the pointy end of the deck out stage of my boat build :woohoo: and after a few ideas on rod racks/storage etc. I’m thinking of some holders under the rim of the boat so they run horizontal along the boat. Any ideas/thoughts/pickies would be much appreciated. Want to get it right from the onset

I have a few clips left from when i did my first tinnie. I will see if i have any photos. Where are you located.

This is the only photo i can find with them in position. I have a few of these clips left if you want, the butt end was just 40mm plastic pipe.

I also put a strip of velcro behind the clip to stop them coming out if i did something stupid.

Depends how many rods you want to hold, under one side of the gunnel I have a 6 rod rack made by berkley and they never move. Can also get a 3 rod rack, easy as to install and tidy.

Will pinch the idea, however will chase down the clips up here. Much simpler that way. Thanks for your help on this, much appriciated
