school shark advise

Hi guys

New to the forums and I am after some advise from the guys in the know

I was fishing the bay yesterday and we caught 2 school sharks

What we failed to know at the time is they need to be bled straight away

We just packed on ice what I would like to know is it to late to salvage these shark's for eating??

Been on ice 12 + hours not bled or gutted

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Look for a post on here about how to fillet them without touching the gut cavity and give it a go. The fish wont be spoilt might just taste crook.

I remember reading something about soaking the fillets in milk to remove the ammonia not sure if it works but probably worth a shot.
