it's my friend's tackle though, far better than mine. i could throw the SX40 for around 10-15m only but i still got a little fish. ha.

i used a lot heavier lures though during the rest of the day

Yeap. Thats a Tarwhine. GOod fish. Often school in with bream. Sometims at straddy you wont get any bream and only these Biggest one i have seen was just shy of 50cm from the surf at New Brighton. It was a beast. There is a photo in the forums somewhere.

a little dam about the size half of NPD in China. there used to be a LMB farm by the dam and flood helped some bass to escape. those bass actually breed because the flood happened 3 yrs ago and the bass escaped r all over 30cm, now they r huge. the biggest i got in that dam was 5kg, didn;t measure the length though.

Not eye Lashes The playing on its membrane. Threadfin being a fond of mddy habitats has a thick membrane over their eyes as they are often in silty and muddy waters.
