close by accomodation

hi all,

can anyone give us the tip on a good place to stay that will be close by to the BRC HQ..

we will need a safe place for the trailer and boat...

somewhere near the main ramp would be good wherever that is :laugh: :laugh:

I doubt you will get accomodation in the city that will have safe car and boat storage.

Maxi and two others are coming up from down south for the comp. Ill start looking out for something Maxi.

Mate, maybe someone will volunteer their back yard for ya boat, then you could just stay somewhere close, (or in their shed!) I would, but I live an hour north of the river myself!

Or u could spend the 72hrs on the boat fishing and sharking with a few 4hr naps.

I was considering offering a spot in my yard for the boat, but I'd like to know what size before committing/offering.

Don't want it getting in the way of the more important rig;)

Hey Maxi.

Might want to check out the Comslie Hotel. Looks pretty good. Its very close, does pub style meals, etc. The only thing im not sure about it parking a boat. But im sure a quick phone call could establish that.

i would go with springwood towers! only 20 min away and the rates are good! and there is plenty of room for the boat in the undercover security car park!

nothing beats a good shower and sleep after a hard day fishing!

if you call them you can barter them down a fair bit to!

The Comslie doesnt have anywhere secure for the boat.

We are not to fussed about the accommodation, we just need to make sure the boat is in a secure spot.

You can stow your boat at my place - in the back yard behind 6foot fence, locked gate and dog. I'm about 10 minutes from Colmslie ramp. Plenty of hotels and motels nearby.

I'm sure your boat will be safe (unless you are performing too well at the weigh in;) )
