Wife turns 70 on sunday and as we will have a housefull of visitors, I had to go for my last fish for a couple of days, this morning. Tried jigging for zilch, none trolling, but managed 73 on bait before heading home.

Its easy getting the numbers up on bait  when the bass are schooling. Still havnt worked out why they are so slow to take lures this winter.They cant all be used to seeing lures go by.

Perhaps you have caught them all at least once. Once bitten twice shy etc...

I keep wetting my finger and putting a cross on the bass before I release, havnt recaught one of them yet, must be a lot in there.
