Fishing standthorpe?

hey dudes im going to stanthorpe in a few weeks for a \"weekend away\" for my dads bday......anyway im keen on having a fish, does anyone know of any dams down near there that have good land based fishing?????? any help is good help

There are heaps of creeks and rivers down there.

Natives but also trout.

Also Glenylon Dam has stacks of yellow belly and crays.

My uncle goes there on a regular basis.

Just uses fresh yabbies with handlines and sit back and has a beer.

thats ma, i have allways wanted a trout, do u need any license's? Im going to take my fly not and my other rods. mad cant wait
