New Kayak

Allright, well since my last kayak post turned into a great white picture scare festival,

I'm interested to know from yakkers if they would concider using a GPS combo instead of just the sounder and maybe a hand held GPS device, Plus hand held GPS obviously can be used if you went out on someone's boat well u can take ya points with u however for simplicity reasons i'm thinking of going for the humminbird 787cxi which is a combo, i like the idea of knowing maybe how far i'm drifting or being pulled along by a fish? Any thoughts.

Hi mate...

When I rigged up my yak I was wondering the same. Ended up just going for the 343c, and getting myself a garmin 76c handheld. That way when I'm on my boat I still have all my waypoints etc etc etc.
