Profish45 Finished.

Confused

Recommended Posts

Well i wanted to Extend a very special thanks to Alex at Viking Kayaks(chermside) I walked into his store about 3 weeks ago and mentioned i wanted to get into some Offshore kayak action, Was immediatly steered to wait for the Profish45, After a painful week of hassleing alex mine came in and it was time to fit it out.

I wanted all the bells and whistles and due to the fact that no one has attempted to do all this before, Alex was kind enough to assist his knoledge on fitting all these things. We fired ideas back and forward amongst each other and came up with this...........

lol only Brian can actually post fish in the live well, Thx ray well no minnkota, Paddle power only

Basically its a standard boat w/ 6 rod holders, handles, bungees, Rudder with peddals and seat. Extras we fitted were back led light, pump to live tank and spraybar, rod tube in hull via rear hatch approx 2.7m long, humminbird 787 GPS/combo on a hinged and sealed lid in front of seat with battery under. All wired to the switchs on side. Factory made hatches are still being moulded, and have plans for a fitted tackle compartment on hatch and adjustable rod holders fixed to hatch when they arrive, all in all i think it cost me about $3500 with the sounder actually setting me back $1700 with a navtronics card.
