Going off to marron tomorow to fish the first QLD bass electric series this year. The fishing starts at 4pm and goes through to 10pm.Cant wait to get into some surface action.

Well arrived at 2:30 and lanched the boats and i was fishing with my dads mate Jay and my dad was fishing with his mate Robo. and go ready. Then at 4pm we started got to the first spot and we got 2 undersize bass then we both got a leagal each mine coming from a lucky craft and Jays from a spinnerbait. Got nothing else there so moved on. Next spot all we got was small fish hiting the blades on the spinnerbaits. Then we moved to the timber and couple more small fish then Jay got a leagal fish. Came out of the timber to see dad and Robo. I looked to see what robo had on it was a popper and he cast in and pop pop whoosh he got a fish. Tied on a popper and could not get one and watched robo get another 6 or 7. Then it went dark and we didnt get another touch. Weighed in with small fish then went home after we were tired and didnt want to stay any longer.
