Fishing technique for overcast day

Hi all,

Planning to fishing this weekend in Tweed Head and it will be cloudy and few showers. Me and my mates are going hard this weekend. Are there any special fishing techniques for overcast days?

Anyhelp is much appreciated.

use darker coloured or reverse counter shaded(darkest colour on the belly light on the back)lures they silhouette against the sky better

get a few mates and enjoy casting and retrieving

Sx40s in 308 are killers on overcast days.

As at night I have found it best to fish slower. Slower retrieves, longers pauses

not too slow, or the flattie will inhale ur most expensive lures!!! lol
