queensland thursday arvo/evening squid and pike hunt manly

i will hit manly harbour or cleveland canals this thursday after lecture. should arrive at 2 or 3pm and fish till 7 or 8. i will target squid but if they r not around, i will try popper fishing for pike and grinners:laugh: . i will be taking a train there if i cannot get a lift from a chinese mate. but anyway i will defi be there!

any interests or suggestions?

usually i don't take pics cuz every time i bring my camera, i won't catch a single fish. lol.

I know you are land based but there was a plague of Pike over Peel on the weekend. They were hitting my plastics with intent, tried a Stiffy Pop with no luck, a quickly retrieved plastic ( Blue Pepper Neon, any thing with white or shiney ) was the goods.

They are agressive buggers, tail walking and airbourne
