Southern Bay Land Based Family Spot??

I am after a spot on the Sth Bay area where I cn go this afternoon, take the wife and kids have a fish, plagrounds, toilets etc anyway from Cleverland to Jacobs Well???

I want somewhere that i will stand a chance of catching something....and meet above needs too... HELP:blink:

No go Mick, it is low tide about 3pm, a real low one, going to be a big walk over the mud flats for a fish most places. Maybe one of the jetties or rock walls, how about Wello Point? Probably going to be busy.

Can you walk out to King Island at low tide ?? Pump some yabbies???

You can certainly walk out there, its well out of the water at low tide. Dunno about any yabbie banks around there though.

nudgee beach?not to sure bout toilets but theres a park n its not a bad spot for flatties n bream also it never seems to be too busy...
