Colleges Crossing

Recommended Posts

I am doing a job out past Colleges Crossing.

Driving past there at 5 am this morning there was a slight mist over the water.

If its worth while I was thinking of having a flick early tomorrow morning or even tomorrow afternoon.

Does anyone have any information on the area, worth while or stay in bed a little longer.

Capt. it is tidal & brackish all the way to the first orignal weir, you get both your salt and fresh speices there flatties, bream, tarpon, threadies, bullies, bass, yellows, mullet(fresh&salt) gar etc. but the hyacinth weed coming down is a problem at the moment. Best fished out of a canoe or yak.

here a flattie caught by big al from there from there [img size=374]http://www.australianfishing.com.au/media/kunena/attachments/legacy/images/IMG_2075_AFO-50a632396509d3c2e79968b516fd3942.jpg
