Murray cod

Received a picture from a mate at work his father in law sent him to rub it in he caught 9 cod 2 on surface the rest on lures he was fishing with the guy who makes tenterfield lures.Its in northern nsw somewhere he will tell us when he is back from a trip in 1 month look forward to going and nailing one of these on surface.:woohoo: [img size=499]http://www.australianfishing.com.au/media/kunena/attachments/legacy/images/murray_cod_AFO.jpg

what a beautiful fish.... the markings are amazing...

some good codwater if you can arrange access to the prime spots

ive heard that most of the landowners like catch and release practiced, if your lucky enough to get an invite..

they would be an awesome fish to get on the topwater.....the take would wicked to see....:cheer: :cheer:

Great catch there, they are such nice looking fish. Must get back home more often to land myself another one of these. Those Tenterfield lures are great too.

Nice fish! Pretty sweet gettin em on top water, the hits and takes of murray cod on surface lures is great to see, VERY BIG swirls and explosions! Can't wait till i can get into some cod country again ! Enjoy ur trip!!!
