Swimming Jig???

hey guys well after missing out on a yak by half a centimetre to malcom (well done buddy) i recieved a lure prize pack for my efforts :woohoo:

thing is, in the pack i recieved a 'Pure Poison Swimmin Jig'

now could someone more informed than me tell me how the hell you use these things? im thinking just the same as a spinner but i could be wrong.

yes very similar to a spinner.

They're very similar to a Chatterbait from other brands, suppose to be a good cod lure They'll sink quite quickly and then when you slowly wind them in there is a pretty massive amoutn of vibration put out by that metal bib/plate.

Maxi: it's a chatterbait, but without any plastics that some brands have. It's just he metal bib and skirt.

Fishyman: You can add a plastic to the hook if you want, that's what some guys do. Perhaps add a bitsy craw plastic?

for the pure poisons, they have a longer bit of skirt thats supposed to add a bit more action to the lure. i would add stinger hook in case fish swipe at the extra bit of skirt.

or another way is to trim the skirt and add a stinger with a soft plastic. they have a lot of vibration. i know of some people who use them for snapper as well. they let it sink to the bottom and then rip it up and let it sink again and they catch quite a bit.

either way its a great lure, ,tight lines

Got a few toga on them up in the shallows working the edges of weed beds. I got a pack of lures too mate for biggest bass today so I was stoked
