Could not help myself - another reel.

Saw an old style Curado on Ebay, could not help myself, picked it up for $75 including postage. These are great old reels (well not so old - they only replaced them in the line up 3 years ago).

Ferg has caught an awful lot of Barra, Yella's, cod, bass etc on his. He has two, one 15 years old, another 3 years old that he went and bought as a spare when he heard they were replacing the model with a "new fangled" version. In 15 years of hard fishing, he had to replace the drag washers in the old one last year, finally wore them past the point where they worked!

Yeh they are a great little real.

I have one that I now leave in Tas for when I go down there chasing trout.

Only problem I ever had with it was the line guide insert fell out and this was fixed with a little glue.

yer theres some good quality reels on ebay goin quite cheap... gotta look out for the bargains... cheers fellas

I have 2 one for bass and one for barra, the bass one has had a lot of use but at this stage has never failed me.
