Pending on this weather im thinking of hitting the bay in my boat this sunday morning

as this would be one of my first times out there, are there any decent spots worth dropping a line in?

heaps mate, but based on the current forecast it might not be the best weekend for it. anything more than about 10-15knots the bay is pretty hazardous for small craft.

good places to start include around peel (watch the green zone), mud, harry atkinson's reef, the drop off along wello pt. hope the weather improves for ya! don't forget to do a report if you head out, even if you don't catch heaps.
