Hi all,

new to the site and new to Australia, brisbane.. originally from South Africa(i know.. we're everywhere!) and spent 8 years in London before i finally made the great escape from the constant cold and rain.. not married but been trying to convert the gf last few years to take up my hobbies... babysteps.

Apart from fishing other activities includes golf, squash and anything outdoors..

i am currently researching buying a fishing kayak but for the moment I enjoy fly fishing (salt and freshwater) and softbaits/spinning. So I will be posting a few posts in the future for advice.

P.S. As far as GF conversion goes, check out this years winter camp (in about 3 weeks). Its what converted my fiance (now wife) last year as its co ed and very social. No she often joins me for a fish and attends plenty of AFO events.
