Rods....

Well Guy's and Girls with the start of the bass season just a few weeks away I'm looking around for a new rod.

Last season I was using a 7'Raider rod in some really tough conditions with very limited casting space so something shorter would be perfect. Any suggestions?

I was thinking maybe around 5' in length but nothing to stiff as most of the wild bass are lucky to weigh a Kilo.

My Mission, to baldly go where no man has gone before in search of wild Bass!!

Not quite 5' but since it is 2pc it will make bush-bashing a bit easier:)

I have a little 5'6 shakespere synergy that I got for $10 at anaconda and it is very light and loads right up to the butt and can handle decent fish and managed to pull in the flathead in my avatar no worries on 4lb. Would be an awesome stick for bush bashing the albert. Best investment that I have made in a while.

Baitcaster in 5'6" 1 to 4 kilo or similar, thats what Ferg and I like to use walking the Stanley. Any bigger is just a pain in the neck.
