Went to somerset this morning mainly to put in some shrimp traps to get some shrimp to take camping with feral and his kids next week. ( Well thats my excuse anyhow)

Took 4 shrimp traps that were brand new and whenI tried to bait them up all the zips were corroded up and broke when I tried to open them.

So set 1 shrimp trap and a few redclaw traps that were still in boat from last trip.

I then went for a bit of a cruise around to see if I could find the post I lost last time. No luck. Decided to move the last pot I had put in as it was a bit close to a weed bed and when I pulled it it had a redclaw and 5 shrimp in it. It had only been down 30 minutes. Checked the rest and ended up with 54 shrimp and 9 redclaw from 4 redclaw pots and one shrimp trap.

Happy with that so back home and back there tomorrow am with Feral.

Just as I left 5 jet skis and 2 ski boats arrrived must have just come up from Kirklea.

I silently wished them luck with all the submerged stumps there.:laugh:

Nice score of shrimp and redclaw for the morning ray turn those 54 shrimp into catching 54 bass will even be better:)
