queensland Hinterland bassing

Picked the wrong option, was going to do a trip to heinz dam and some creek bassin, but had to forgo the heinz part due to lack of time. This proved to be a wrong move as the creeks were running to fast. Wed arvo picked up one whopper and this morning picked up another few bass. With the water running so fast it was hard to find eddies out of the flow where the bass would hold up. I will have to return next week when it slows down and hopefully get a few hours on heinze also.

Creek was near Canungra and although it was running fast it was very clear and full of carp.
