Spinnerbaits

Hey guys,

I seem to be getting heaps of BCF vouchers as xmas presents this year (people know the perfect gift for me:laugh: ) and was looking to get some spinnerbaits. I intend on getting some for North Pine and wondering if anyone could give some advice on the different types. Also thought these might go alright in my quest for a Mary River cod (I know there around Macgavins view just got to figure out how to catch one)

Bassman spinnerbaits have the best name.

They are a couple of bucks more than some brands.

However like everything you get what you pay for.

I bought some cheapies recently and only 50% of them woudl swim properly. The 2 bassmans i have swim fantastically.

So yeah. Thats my 2 cents.

Im still yet to catch a fish on spinner bait hahaha. But hopefully Jimmybob can help me out of that rut.

I aggree with angus here, bassman are a great spinnerbat, so are ausspin and tt lures.

Im also no pro cause i just buy watever looks like it will work but i do have one ausspin with gold blades and a white skirt that seems to be a fairly consistent producer, it has caught my pb yellowbelly to date.

get a spinnerbait with a willow blade and a colorado blade.....well:unsure: i would anyway:P

i love using spinnerbaits..dont be afraid to use em in the salt either mate!

Yeah go the bass man in a purple colour - thats what i got busted off on at norht pine.
