Viking Tempo with Electric

Hey guys,

Looks like it's time to sell my Tempo now that I have the Revo. I've had it for about 15 months, previously it was owned by Lee.

Stuff it's got :-

scotty rod holder, 2 flush mounts up front, 50L ice box on the back with 2 upright rod holders, and 1 scotty style (this is great keeps drinks cold and fish fresh and the rod holders keep your rods away from the water), Yak trolley, full leccy setup, paddle. The electric is a minn Kotta riptide 36lb and moves

the yak along at around 5 knots.

The two scotty holders means you can troll both sides of the kayak with a minimum of tangles etc.

I won't be including a battery with it as the battery for it is long past it's useful life and you'd be better off getting a new 40AH sealed battery for it.

I'm looking for $1,100 for it, $100 of which will go to AFO.

These pics are stolen from Lee as I don't have any good photos of it like this yet, and it still looks exactly the same :D

I think it is actually a special riptide Rocket, made to fit a yak. A normal one in that size would be around the 450 - 500 mark from memory, that one would probably be more being a specialised one. I think the Tempo's around $12 -1300 new?

Plus the cost of the extra's

Not sure mate, I reckon $2500 by the time you got all the bits and put it together. Mate if you're keen I'd be happy to talk turkey, even work out a payment plan if you want, I'm not in a hurry for the money, but I am in a hurry to get it out of my backyard.

You could take it for another test ride tomorrow morning if you want, I'm gonna head down to jacob's well.

This was a great yak and served me very well before I sold it to Paul. The Leccy setup is fully custom usinf Marine grade stainless and aluminium with lath turned bushes etc the throttle has been possitioned right at your fingertips. the conversion of the leccy cost around $500 alone. the 50L icebox is awesome on the back there its probly the one thing i really miss not having eith my Adventure

PS it did have some serious Mojo when i sold it to

Paul but I cannot guarantee that it is intact lmao
