queensland Night time Bassin'

Hi all,went out for a throw last night to xxx spot to see how the bass bite of a night time.A bit slow to start of with as I fished the places where I have caught bass before in the daytime and with no luck.

So I tried spots where in the day I would never fish(shallow,openwater surface)then it was on 4 caught and 1 dropped.It seems they change there habits in the night and bite/fight harder.

Did you get them on Bait or Lures? Also what Bait or Lure?

hey dazz,

were you using poppers? Are we talking lake or river? If you dont want to tell whether lake or river thats cool.

Caught them all on lures.Natural coloured floating lure that rattles, retrieved very slowly.I think blending the lure and action in with the enviroment worked well...I not telling where it is untill I get :sick: of it..Might be a while:P cheers Dazz [img size=265]http://www.australianfishing.com.au/media/kunena/attachments/legacy/images/ggg.jpg

Nice one mate.

There is an article on night time bassin in the hints and tips. And your right the bass certainly do change their habits when the sun goes down.

There was no moon out at the time when they came on.The surface was hot with action, splashin here and there.Had bass risin less than 10 metres away from me!!

Then the moon came out late and everything just stopped like someone switched on a light at a bank robbery!!

I let all my fish go!!! except mud crabs and prawns.

I was thinking about it, really would like to but me boss might have other ideas for me;) Cheers Dazz
