sharks of moreton island

there is an article on a current affair tomorrow night about the amount of big shark hanging round in the shallows of moreton. should be interesting.

Had nothing to do with moreton. It was a beach with great whites down in NSW.

Jeff was correct. The most recent bit on ACA featured 4 blokes in a tinny, and they appeard to be teasing the sharks up to the surface. Didn't see the show, just the promo. The one that Terry talks about was on ACA a while ago, and was about catching great white sharks just north of newcastle. Those blokes were taking the baits out on surf boards, and doing some land based sharking. Two totally separate stories. Cheers, Fisher_191:)

NO. I was NOT on about them fishing for great whites and using a surfboard to deploy their baits. I was talking about the article that jeff mentioned.

Terry, the article that jeff mentioned featured the same guys who were on ACA last year using surf boards to deploy their baits and land based shark fishing for great whites. SAME blokes ... DIFFERENT stories. Location was north of newcastle, not moreton though.
