queensland fish kill at kooka park

I went down to kookaburra park sunday arvo and threw the tinnie in the river and headed up river towards johnsons rocks to get some live bait only to see hundreds of boney bream and a large threadie floting all over the place.I turned around and headed down river towards the power lines only to discover more dead boney bream catfish and more dead threadies.there were 8 dead threadies in total inclueding the one upstream all around the metre mark in size.

I dont know what causes it but there was a fish kill that happened late spring last year as well.

Mate that is very very odd to me maybe not to others but yea would be interestin to no wat the go is

yeah mate there was a big one about 2 years ago i think around jindalee to wacol that i know of... could of gone further upriver but i didn't check it out. But it's shocking to see so many dead threadys (don't really mind the dead cattys) might be the cold?

thats terrible, i wonder why? do you think it was just that area that was affected? or it went efected the fish further down like colleges etc?
