Closed season Question?

Hey guys

Me and a mate were thinking of heading down some inland spots on the Logan river and try for some bass tomorow in my mates yaks, but just rembered about the closed season.

Ive been reading about it and it seems to only be closed season for whaterways that are upstream of weirs and join onto a dam?

The Logan doesnt run into any dams so i was wondering if the rule still applies or is it alright to target bass still?

Thanks

Dan

upstream of weirs and dams is OK because the fish can't get to the brackish water to breed. So I'm sorry to say that the logan is out since the fish will be in the brackish water breeding

This area is a little grey for me as well.

I have been told that the Stanly River is off limits to bass fishing as well as its closed season.

Im not going to bother kicking up a fuss, but it flows into Somerset which means the bass cant get anywhere need brackish water to spawn.
