queensland Kookaburra park 9/3

Heading up to Kookaburra park tomorrow morning with Graham Pflaum and John Ford.

Aim to arrive around 7am and fish till lunchtime.

We were going to go this morning but chickened out due to forecast.

Targeting bullies and hopefully a salmon. Will be a new experience for John and Graham.

I have some frozen poddys in the freezer and hope to get some liveys up there.

Will also take a few frozen prawns to feed the starving catfish population.

you might want to fish upstream of the ramp ray cause if the tide is high enough for them to launch the ski boats will drive you mad and all the fish away

I went down to check out burpengary creek ramp this arvo, (thinking of a night session tomorrow night), the creek is literally 15 foot wide here, full of smags and mangroves, and there were 2 idiots with Jets Ski's screaming in and out of the snags.

I would have dobbed them in, (you know 4 knot limit in a Jet ski within 60 foot of the bank) but I figure they were a dead cert for an encounter with an underwater snag, so thought I would just leave them to it.:evil:
