Feral
Its gotta be the driest I can remember for a long time. The ground around my trees is cracking, the lawn crackles underfoot like a frost, even the singapore daisy in the garden is going to god. Had a quick look at the rainfall data for Brisbane, we have the least rain in the last 3 month period than other 3 month period so far this century. (2004 was close, with only a few mm more) I did not bother looking back any further, probably the 70's was the last time it was this dry. Terry H
2004? Jesus, doesn't seem that long ago! But yea it certainly is dry! These dusty westerlies aren't going to help that in one bit either
kriso
tell me about it, my work relies on rain coming into the season and what normaly is a busy time for us is dead slow in the mower side of things, the old brush cutters and chain saws are still selling though with weeds still growing strong and people cleaning up before the storms come in. though since i have started we have had drought for the first season, then economic melt down and now no rain again but we still manage okay. though i would love about 6inchs of rain to top the old commission cheque up though lol
