where to get good prices on lowrance sounders

Hey Guys,

A mate has bought a new rig and is looking at getting a lowrance hds7 with gps and sea card. can anymone recommend a good place for getting one at the right odds?

yeah i looked at those but he wants to buy in AUS so he doesnt have to send it to the states if it needs a warranty repair.

yeah i read there extended warranty programs are supprted internationaly but i dont think the manufacturer one is.

Warranties for under $500 are replacement

the sounder with out the transducer on there is $899 plus shipping

the best price he has got here so far is $2200 for the sounder, aussie C-map and transducer.

hit whitworths at the gabba up they have some genuine bargains. My sounder was about $500 which worked out about $80 cheaper

with the exchange the way it is why double the price. and also has anyone had a play with the side imageing that the lawrance does

and is that just for the module of the whole unit?

it says it is for the unit and the transducer. for the third option. thats like fishing with a video camera. lol. also they used it on a fishing show here and it seems to do very well. but i couldnt give you a personal; review on it because ive never owned one. almost all the fish finders come with everything you need. all transducers. some do not have the mounting kits and you have to buy that seperately. hope it helps.
