What Type of Fish?

Hey Guys

A friend of mine caught this yesterday down in the tweed river. Any idea as to what it is? He is land based. sorry about the crappy photo.

Yep, baby cobia. The juveniles are often found in the estuaries, up to about 50cm. Very striking fish, fight hard too. I assume the fish was released to fight again another day?

He was 45cm and was released!!

yeah i wasnt happy i wasnt there. planning a yak trip sunday morning to the same area. they got 3 or 4 big flatties as well. biggest was 78 im told.

bass trip tomorrow afternoon, hopefully the wier works
