mine is a Manns 15+ in the autumn brown colour.

eeny meeny miny mo. Mine would have to be 3/4 ounce tt vortex spinner bait. But thats for North pine.

I know its a cliche but im a big fan (based purely on the fish i have caught with it) on my brown Jakal TN50.

However i am very much looking forward to throwing around my new golden brown SX60 at Baroon.

Expensive lures aside, i have seen the most bass caught on Tassie Devils.

Mine would be a Berkley frenzy flicker shad in the orange with black stripes.It worked at North Pine Dam and spot xxx also works well on the mangrove jacks.

Yes they are cheap lures but they work....

well the biggest bass i have caught was on a tassie devil...but id say stumpjumpers or kokoda bugga chugs have got the majority of my bass...i cant say if jackalls are my fav due to i cant afford to pay off 2 home loans:P

For Quality of Catch - Ecogear 120 tripple treble

I know it's hard to pick a fav lure, but mine was picked cos it has caught my biggest bass.

But all the lures have their place.

topwater for early mornings and arvo's, jackalls, spinnerbaits, ice jigs, plastics are good for when the bass are schooling or holding deep, bibbed lures for trolling etc

it all comes down to which one has worked the best lately, or whichever one has caught you a 58cm bass;)

Oz, i know they look weird but they work.

you find a school of fish with ur sounder and u drop the ice jig down onto the school, then jig it a couple times and u catch fish supposedly.

with the pirks they used to hang a second one or a celta type spinner a meter under the top one

Yeah sounds like a good idea, only problem is that I think that would make it illegal in fresh water, only one hook or lure per line in fresh.

Id have to say so far its been a cheap \"10 force\" bibles lure so far! Followed by tassies.

I've caught plenty of bass on ice jigs they work best when you find a good amount of bass on the sounder drop them staight to the bottom and give your rod a couple of sharp upward jigs then let drop back down repeating this over until you get nailed it definitely gets the adrenilin pumping.Even if you see bass flat lining on the bottom being inactive try this out and watch the archs on the sounder start to rise then they will be active smashing your ice jig, try to keep your bass in a live well so you can keep catching more so they dont shut down when you release them back into the school.

but if lures can have more than one treble then why not the jigs they are lure themselves

have you seen how stinger hooks have been set up on longer sps to reduce tail biteoff i think that this would be ok as its similar to the trebles of a lure front and back

although it is quite clear about one lure or hook per line

G'day fellas, thought i'd chip with my fave bass lure: the Tilsan Bass in the Mango colours nails em every time. best being a 52cm bass from the upper brisbane river. White spinner baits do well for me in the dams, and poppers on dawn.

stinger hooks are fine to be used in freshwater i use them on spinnerbaits most of the pro's in the bass comps use them it helps with the hook up rate
