queensland sunday fishing session

We went fishing from 11am yesterday strted out at the hornibrook bridge got a cuple of bites but our bit ws crap and kept falling off each time we cast. ( do not buyy your bait from the bait and tackle shop just after the bridge at hornibrook) so after we lost ll our bait we headed to the petrol station for some more and drove long the bech until we found somewhere that looked nice a couple of people were bringing in whiting(?)but once again we only got bites about 4.00pm we decided to head to nundah got a few bites and i caught my first and only thing of the day a blue spanner crab was unsure of the size it needed to be so let it go. we were considering heading to schultz but the mozzies came in fast and hard so around 6.30 we headed home. the day was a huge disaapointment more for my hubby than me coz he didnt get any bites all day :laugh:
