queensland Upper Brissy session.......

Hi All,

Went for a stroll in my best hiking boots for a couple of k along the still (slightly) swollen banks of the upper Brissy to see if I could pick up a couple of the monster bass that have come over the dam wall I keep hearing and reading about...... Couldn't find them (alive) or maybe they couldn't find there way through the masses of hungry juniors? Anyway had a ball for a couple of hours and picked up plenty of small bass and a spangled perch. The biggest bass went 30cm and the spangled went 20cm. Heaps of fun - even little bass go hard. It was almost spot on 8.30am and it was like someone flicked a switch and the fish shut down. Most of the damage was done on a gold tt blade that I donated to the river well after the fish had shut down and I had tried everything else in the tackle box - they would respond to no other colour blade. Good news is BCF had them on special 2 for $20 so I had to buy some more :laugh: . Here's a couple of pics and a vid for Dan
