Good Spots around Gold Coast

I am popping down to the Gold Coast today till Sunday and was wondering where I can go for some fishing. I have been reading some threads on breams, trev, kingfish, etc activities.

Any information on spots down that area would be helpful - please provide enough information as I dont know the area too well.

I wasnt kidnapped, only deported. Same **** but nicer jail rooms, lol.

deported ay, sounds sordid you'll have to fill me in on that story, sounds like a corker. been fishing a bit mate not so much over the past few weeks, but since you were last in the country i spose heaps on that timeframe, lol.

as for the gold coast i havent been down for a while but if the rivers down that way are in a similar condition to ours i'd be heading out to the seaways (goldcoast and tweed should be worth a shot) and try fish the cleaner water

yeap.. seaway and sand flats nearby would be my bet.... I haven't been down there in a while but I'd guess the rivers would be a little tough at the moment. Anywhere between the Versace hotel and the seaway landbased would be a good shot.

plenty of action despite the shitty weather and dirty water..

try the canals on the flooding tide... even the creek mouths and the upper reaches of tally you might get some stuff..

if not the seaway is always a goer :cheer:
