My mates here love the Hopper rods for deep jigging, (good price too) but I can't take that much pressure. They're too short for me, I use 7' 3\" and 8' 50-80 rods built with the same type blank for casting poppers and jigs to surface feeding tuna.

I use these, just as strong.
