She's growing up.....

Someone asked me a while ago for an update on my Saratoga. Well here she is.

There is a Purple Spot Gudgeon and some silver perch.

Funnily enough the three Silvers are the remains of 20 i put in there for her to eat. I bought them as pinky nail sized fish from stafford road aqaurium. She ate them all very fast except those three which managed to hide in caves etc until to big to eat. Now the biggest is probably heavier than she is.

But on another note, at $4 for 20 silver perch fingerlings that grow very fast, pretty quick way to stock a private dam hahaha.

Yeah the tank will be over crowded if they get much bigger. And the filter doesnt like it much. The toga is my priority so the silvers must go!!

ok man..il try to rustle a foam box from work today and drop in..but il ring ya first to see where ya are anyways...gunna be funny watchin the silvers go up against my big male convict until i can get the silvers up to mums dam....

Thats a nice looking toga mate, cant wait until I get my tank running and can start getting fish for it. Will have to wait until uni holidays as I have a few things I want to do before it will be running right. Definately going to get a toga and maybe a murray cod and a few smaller bass.

angus just an idea. have you ever tried getting a lure with the hooks off and seing how the the fish react. could be a way to settle the jackall/g-vibe debate

well angus..the silver perch that i took home yesterday is fitting in quite well...killed 2 of my rainbow already:S ....but the battle between the electic yellow and the siver is a bit of an epic:P
