queensland mud island

hi guys does anyone know if you are allowed to camp on mud island i would like to take a couple of mates there this weekend and wanted to spend the nigth there. thanks guys

Dont kow about the camping there but I went fishing around there last night we caught some sweetlip,bream,squire and a stonefish

Not sure about \"Allowed\" but I bet you to your last dollar that you'll get eaten alive by sandflies and the like.

also mud is mainly really sharp coral. we have tried to let the dog out before but the surrounding reef is to shallow even to get your boat in and you would need sturdy shoes to avoid getting cut on the rocks. a better place is peel island horseshoe bay it is calm, sandy and water deep enough to store your boat in. also your allowed to camp there. but you might need a permit.
