Good topic Tugger !

This year really became my fishing obsession and would be my best year in a long time !!

86cm Golden Trevally

62cm Snapper

45cm Mangrove Jack

Oh Yeah and caught my fist Queen fish although only around 40cm's

These would be the highlights so Far.

Hoping to crack 90cm on the Trevally in November back up at Hervey and hopefully crack 50cm Jack !!!

I've suppose i've done okay so far with a couple of upgrades ;) and all fish caught on lures.

Snapper off Tweed on plastic of about 7kg?

post-5191-14459864863_thumb.jpg

Gt off the Tweed on plastic went 26kg

post-5191-144598648636_thumb.jpg

Spaniard on a Stickbait off The Group in front of all the people trolling for em

post-5191-144598648642_thumb.jpg

And my first Snapper for the yak at around 70cm

post-5191-144598648651_thumb.jpg

Kingfish on jig at 12.5kg off Brunswick

Still want a 50cm plus Jack and a 60cm plus GT from a canal or river system and to actually land a Tuna in the yak instead of loosing the damn things.

Cheers

Mark

I am pretty happy with my effort so far this year. I have only really caught a couple of stand out fish, but I am been mixing it up opposed to really focusing on one style of fish or species of fish. I try and focus on whatever the FOTM is (even though I cant compete) to force me to get out there and try something different! I have also started fishing with MUCH lighter gear this year and am loving it.

Barra Park Barra on 4lb and a 1-3kg rod. :)

Haven't had much luck this year but here is a couple that I'm pretty happy with.

post-7024-144598648732_thumb.jpg

Really dodgy phone pic but this Bream went 33.5 FL put on a great fight and is my best Bream to date, just annoying that I didn't get him on a lure as that would've really made my night.

post-7024-144598648742_thumb.jpg

And didn't bother putting this on the measure as it was only a small one but this was my first Bass and I was pretty happy to have knocked that one off.

I'll be getting a yak this year so hopefully that will be the motivation I need to get out a bit more often and get amongst them a bit more and also start using lures a bit more effectively.

Cheers,

Anthony.

First ever Saratoga! Caught in Discovery Bay, Hong Kong. Used a daiwa proshooter 2500 4lb line with a berkley lightning rod. Lure was a ecogear sx40 colour no. 348. Not sure of exact size but I say 60cm+?? Haha
